Not every spring springs in spring
In partnership with the Belgian institution Z33 we are currently conducting an investigation on the topic ‘Living with water’ that focuses on the narratives used to talk about the issue of water scarcity. This research project channels its findings into a guided tour that focuses on exposing the loopholes that are used to privatise the use and management of a natural resource.
By using Z33 as a case study, a live audience can learn about the different mechanisms that are exercised to claim, perpetuate and reclaim water ownership, while being invited to create their own perspective on the research.
The tour itinerary will follow the hose used to channel the water from its start at the cafeteria, through spaces both front of house and back of house, gradually guiding visitors to the source, a one-of-a-kind water spring that The Ironing Board managed to get a concession for, exclusively available for the period of the exhibition that will take place this year from April to the end of August.
