Radio Stasis
The Ironing Board are co-founders of Radio Stasis, a Rotterdam based collective that aims to bring local creatives together through the use of sound with their residency program Staging Stasis. In each residency two artists who share a curious crossover in their practices are paired together to collaborate using the medium of the sound. The residency offers them time to reflect on their processes together and develop their knowledge of radio-making, all while expanding their creative practice and network.
The residencies culminated in a finale at WORM in May 2022. In this evening of live performances each of our pairs shared the ideas and works they developed during their Staging Stasis residency. This event was also broadcasted live and you can listen back here.
